MRM operates across multiple sites due to its administrative oversight and the geographical distribution of the academic units to which the laboratory’s faculty members are affiliated.

• The Triolet site houses the laboratory's administrative office.
• There are two locations that house the graduate student offices: Richter and Triolet.
