Montpellier Management Research (MRM) is a research unit primarily supervised by the University of Montpellier and secondarily supervised by the University of Perpignan and AgroParis Tech.
It was created in 2011 by bringing together all of Montpellier's management laboratories. MRM was created with the aim of pooling all of Montpellier's strengths in the field of management research. MRM now has nearly 220 members, including 112 permanent faculty members and 105 doctoral students and research engineers.
As a management research laboratory, it is primarily affiliated with the Montpellier Doctoral School of Economics and Management (EDEG, DS ). MRM is the coordinating laboratory for LabEx Entreprendre.
SCIENTIFIC STRUCTURING
MRM is the leading team in Management Sciences in the South of France and one of the leading teams in France. Its scientific structure is based on a dual principle of disciplinary groups and cross-disciplinary areas.
TheDisciplinary Groupscorrespond to the major fields of Management Sciences: Accounting and Society, Entrepreneurship, Finance, HRM, Marketing, Organization, Strategy, and Information Systems.
TheCross-cutting Themescorrespond, in the field of management, to the three main research themes of the University of Montpellier: health management, agri-food management, and responsible management and practices.
