On March 9, members of the MRM laboratory gathered atIAE Montpellier for their annual general meeting. Led by Gilles N’Goala, this highlight of the lab’s calendar provided an opportunity to take an inspiring look back at the past year and outline plans for the year ahead
✦ A proven track record of scientific excellence
The meeting opened with an update on the laboratory’s scientific activities. Isabelle Bourdon highlighted, in particular, the researchers’ involvement in the HAL platform. Thanks to the commitment of all the research groups, the 2025 scientific output shows very positive aggregate figures, reflecting the prominence of management research at the University of Montpellier.
✦ Fun and camaraderie at the heart of the lab
Béatrice Siadou-Martin highlighted the importance of the MRM Cafés. These cross-disciplinary events (covering ethics, careers, and international affairs) provide essential opportunities for discussion, with sessions specifically designed to support our doctoral students.

✦ Focus on communication
The meeting also provided an opportunity to present the laboratory’s new communications strategy, led by Andréa Gourmelen. In this regard, we are pleased to welcome Emilie Lopez-Marchegay (IUT Montpellier-Sète), who will be joining the team as a communications intern starting March 16. She will be reaching out to you shortly to help showcase your work.
