Colette Fourcade is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Montpellier and holds a PhD in Economics. Her work focuses on small and micro-enterprises in relation to local development. She also works on craft businesses. Her research on regional networks of small businesses has applications in the agri-food sector. Secretary General of AIREPME, the International Association for Research in Entrepreneurship and SMEs, she is a winner of the AIREPME Julien-Marchesnay Prize. She has been awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of Minsk in Belarus. She is a Knight of the Order of Academic Palms.
