Doing a thesis in Management Science

Doctoral School - EDEG

The MRM laboratory is part ofEDEG (DS 231), the Doctoral School of Economics and Management, based at the University of Montpellier - Richter Campus.

Working closely with doctoral students, she is particularly involved in :

  • scientific and administrative validation of thesis registrations
  • organization of doctoral contract competitions
  • organization and management of course modules
  • thesis defenses
  • HDR (Habilitation to Supervise Research) defenses

Training modules - 100 hours minimum

As part of the preparation for the doctoral degree, students must take 100 hours of modules / courses / training.
These courses are organized by EDEG.
Catalogue and Procedure are available on the website under Modules.

There are also professional insertion modules organized by the Doctoral College.
Participation in one of these modules is equivalent to a 20h course offered by the Doctoral School. (Please note: only one professional insertion module can be taken into account to replace an EDEG course).

Defending your thesis

The doctorate is awarded on completion of the thesis, the culmination of research work carried out during the doctoral years.
