Writing a thesis in Management Science

The Doctoral School – EDEG

The MRM Laboratory is affiliated withEDEG (DS ), the Doctoral School of Economics and Management, located on the Richter Campus of the University of Montpellier.

She maintains close contact with doctoral students and is involved in the following areas in particular:

  • the academic and administrative approval of thesis registrations
  • the administration of doctoral fellowship competitions
  • the organization and management of course modules
  • thesis defenses
  • HDR defenses (Qualification to Supervise Research)

Training modules – minimum of 100 hours

As part of their doctoral program, students are required to complete 100 hours of modules, courses, and training sessions.
These courses are organized by EDEG.
The course catalog and application procedures are available on the website under the “Modules” section.

The Doctoral College also offers career readiness modules.
Completing one of these modules counts as the equivalent of a 20-hour course offered by the Doctoral School. (Note: Only one career readiness module may be used to substitute for an EDEG course.)

Defend one's thesis

The award of a doctoral degree is contingent upon the completion of a dissertation and its defense, which mark the culmination of the research conducted during the doctoral program.
